When Your New PR Girl is down, she thinks of Donuts. Sometimes, if that is not enough, she thinks of Gonuts Donuts. Sigh. Good thing this sweetness is already in Davao.
This sweet, colorful donut house opened last June 25, 2011. I found out many interesting things about Gonuts Donuts. Here are a few:
1. Gonuts Abreeza is the first franchise outside Luzon. They also said they've been eyeing Davao for quite sometime but they wanted to open in an Ayala Mall. So there.
2. Disney officially subcontracted Gonuts Donuts to make exclusive Disney character donuts for them.
3. Gonuts Donuts is a 100% Filipino brand.
4. The Gonuts Abreeza branch sold 3,000 pcs of donuts 24hours after they opened. Whew!
5. Gonuts Donuts is currently the top 3 donut brand in the Philippines, coming right after 2 giant foreign donut brands.
I'd tell you the others but I demand donuts! Haha! More power to Gonuts Donuts and to the Donut People! Davao is sure happy to have you here! :-)
